The idea for the Sushi Bar+Wine concept was born from a simple insight.

Sushi and the Scandinavian aesthetic come from different parts of the world, yet they are made for each other. The marriage is sealed by a third element: organic wines from independent producers. When seemingly disparate things were brought together, something truly unique was born.

Sushibar+Wine has proven to stand the test of time. This has been helped by continuous development and our team-based working culture. All orders are prepared by us from fresh ingredients and from start to finish on site in our restaurants. We are proud both of our collaboration with WWF and of our long-standing partnerships with iconic design brands Artek and Marimekko.

We are the first Finnish sushi restaurant to be awarded the Ekokompass certificate for our long-term sustainability work. We are also the first carbon neutral sushi restaurant in Finland: we calculate our carbon emissions annually and offset them through Southpole, read more here.
